Guillaume du Gardier is Director Online Communications at Edelman

First french PR blogger and PR podcaster, he blogs daily at
www.prthoughts.com.
He started his career as co founder and director of Trait d’Union a tech boutique which made it to the top 10 in its category within a 7 year span. In march 2004 he founded PR Planet, a PR agency specialized in IT and Consumer Marketing. In november 2004, he launched Blogging Planet, the first european consultancy specialized on new communications tools as blogs, wikis, podcast and RSS.
He launched the CEO Bloggers' Club (www.ceobloggers.com), an international club gathering 95 CEO members around the world.
He coproduced in January 05 New Communications Forums in Napa
(CA), the first conference on blogs, wikis and RSS, by PR Pro for PR &
marketing pros.
He organized the first series of conferences in France around
blogging for Six Apart with Loïc Le Meur, "les Coulisses du blog", on the topics
"Blogging & Journalism", "Blogging & Politics", "Corporate
Blogging".
He has been widely referenced in the two first French books on blogging, "BlogStory” in 04 and "Les blogs", in May 05. Edelman & Intelliseek white paper on internal blogging made a reference to him.

techniques and topics
Guillaume participates, via university blogs, at Robert
French lesson in Auburn, holds a chair on Innovative Information Strategy at the
CELSA.
Guillaume is also strongly involved in the wiki world, working closely
with SocialText, on it's introduction on the French market.
